What is your favorite carry for housework?

I haven't found a way to carry my 7 month old that allows me to raise my arms above my head comfortably. It makes housework a strain on my shoulders. (Since I am short, I am always raising my arms over my head...)
Any recommendations?

Hi Angela! What have you tried? I found that a back carry with a mei tai or soft structured carrier worked well for housework. I actually probably did a back carry with a wrap even more for that, though. I'm glad to discuss this more. Since this wiki is brand new, the discussion here won't be as lively as it is at www.TheBabyWearer.com, though, so that's another place you might want to post. The forums there are extremely active! I use either a meitai with ds on my back, or a simple pareo (one-shoulder back carry), or a rucksack carry with a wrap. Tamatea is 15 months old and I can do any housework comfortably for about an hour or so... Do you find this valuable?
