I agree with you Holly. I also think that you have to make a difference between the original types of Asian carriers, worn as they are in Asia, that is on women's back as they often take their baby with them to work in rice fields or sell products in marketplaces, and Asian-type carriers, which are adaptations of the original ones for our Western world which allows far more leisure for moms so they can wear their baby on the front.
